Tri – Star Foods was formed in 1991 in order to address specific market segments in the Health Food and more specifically Sucrose Free sectors of the market.
As the largest manufacturer of Sucrose Free products in South Africa, the company distributes its products through all major Retail Chains and Specialty Stores. Products are also manufactured for other leading brands as per client requirements.
Diversification has taken place in the last number of years in two major product areas:
- Pickled Products
A wide range of pickled products such as
jalapenos, gherkins, onions and sauces are included in the pickled range.
- Powdered Products
The powdered product range includes jellies,
soups, cooldrinks, milk powders, stocks etc.
These ranges are distributed both through the Retail and Hospitality markets. A growing market segment is the Institutional Feeding category i.e Correctional Services, School Feeding Schemes etc.
