| The company commenced trading 1 February 1991, originally as a muesli and biscuit manufacturing operation. A powder manufacturing operation was commissioned in 1993, as a result of requests from customers. In 2000 the baking operation was disposed of as a result of restructuring of the business. During the same year a pickling business was acquired. The powder and pickle operations complement each other in meeting the requirements of the company’s customers in the catering and hospitality industries. The company also distributes a number of complimentary products from leading manufacturers, such as tinned fruit, jams, sugar sachets, etc. The company’s core business is to manufacture and supply:
